Run
RUN

Go make a run
Run to become
Become your dream, become someone
Cause on that day when time calls your name
There ain’t a soul on this earth to blame
So don’t wait to find your moment
Don’t wait for anything
Don’t miss your only moment when it’s finally happening
Just run
Cause life hasn’t just begun
Every single breath you take is
Counted by your lungs
So just run
Leave footprints so they know
Stop waiting such a long time..
To let your spirit go
You think it’s “Them”
Stop blaming “Them”
They own the world they cause mayhem
They aren’t the ones
That hold you back
You’re just an atychiphobiac.
You scared to show your weakness
Your scared to show your age
Your scared to show you want this
Watching others rule the stage
Just run
Cause life hasn’t just begun
Every single breath you take is
Counted by your lungs
So just run
Leave footprints so they know
Stop waiting such a long time..
To let your spirit go
Get out there and run
You’re dreaming day to day
Hell bent on destiny
Get out of your own way
Small steps make history
You want to change the world
You want to right wants wrong
You need to run your voice
Sing your song, song song
So just run
Cause it hasn’t just begun
Every single breath you take is
Counted by you lungs
So just go out and run
You’re stronger than you know
Stop waiting such a long time
To let your spirit go
Just get out there and run
Living Dead, But Murdered

I can’t always want to want you back.
And you might find alone hits like a heart attack
Peoples turn away
People looking down on me making me feel like you did that day
Breaking my heart
I can’t always want to want you back
I’m the brink now
Finding what you laid down
The stronger part of me
That you stole during your shake down
You pulled my legs right from out of me
Under me (oh)
Triggering every fear
Unleashing insecurities
You’re so damn cerebral
Your twisting every word
It’s like I’m beaten bloodied in an alley
Living dead but murdered
And I’m so over it
I can’t always want to want you back
I must be fucking Jesus cause I resurrect for you for the last time
I can’t always want to want you back
I’m the brink now
Finding what you laid down
The stronger part of me
That you stole during your shake down
You pulled my legs right from out of me
Under me (oh)
Triggering every fear
Unleashing insecurities
You’re so damn cerebral
Your twisting every word
It’s like I’m beaten bloodied in an alley
Living dead but murdered
And I’m so over it
I got one chance at this
To set myself free
I’m the brink now
Finding what you laid down
The stronger part of me
That you stole during your shake down
You pulled my legs right from out of me
Under me (oh)
Triggering every fear
Unleashing insecurities
You’re so damn cerebral
Your twisting every word
It’s like I’m beaten bloodied in an alley
Living dead but murdered
And I’m so over it
Lightning through the Fog

Is Heaven really awaiting me?
I guess I’ll wait and see
Seems like only yesterday
I lived with so much clarity
Everyone seems to fall in line
Everyone seems so sure
But some things seem to deviate in time
Make you insecure
Sometimes I lie awake at night
Thoughts just streaming through my mind
What am I gonna do?
What am I gonna do?
What am I gonna do?
I can’t tell no one that I am afraid
I cant tell no one can I still be saved?
And I hope someone will tell me
And I hope someone will save me
Then, it hits me like a warm blanket
Like my mother’s arms
Like my father’s arms
You gotta live it with a broken heart
You gotta live it when realty’s falling apart
You gotta live it when there’s nothing left
You gotta live it like you’re leaping from the nest
You gotta live it like a drag queen
You gotta live it like a miracle making machine
You gotta live like an underdog
You gotta live it like you’re lightning through the fog
Forever

I played it out in the basement
creating everything
just drawing and singing and writing stuff
Awakening my every dreams
I laid it out in the basement
The songs feeding the feelings I had
Sometimes I thought I would run away
Or spend hours feeling so mad
Then there he was, he’d come to me
'“Son I want you to know that I love you
But you have to find
Some way to control you
When I was your age
I would count to ten
It would help me find
Some way back to me again.”
And then he stood
And looked at me and he said
“I won’t be here forever
Please leave this world better
Than you found it
Cause we won’t be here forever
I’ll never leave you. Never.”
I lost it all in the basement
The first love you feel is so free
You look at each other forever
The end of your virginity
Are we doing this
Is this happening
Watching you undress
Naked and everything
And there we were something new and something great
And she said
“I could stay here forever
Let’s stay in bed together.”
And I’d say, “ I am not leaving ever.”
Years later, you’ll never leave me. Never.
I saw my son in the basement
I wondered if he’d ever know
That I was going to love him anyway
But sometimes kids need some places to go
Son I won’t you to know that I love you
When I was your age
My dad told me what to do
And then I said “count to 10”
And then said,
“I won’t be here forever
Please leave this world better
Than you found it
Cause we won’t be here forever
But I’ll never leave you. Never.”
Going There With You

It doesn’t really matter where you think you’re going to
It doesn’t really matter where you think you’re goin’ to
‘Cause no matter where you’re goin’
I’m going there with you
It doesn’t really matter who you think you are
It doesn’t really matter who you think you are
‘Cause no matter who you being
We all hitch upon that star
It’s doesn’t really matter what you gonna say
It’s doesn’t really matter what you gonna say
‘Cause the words you ain’t saying
Do more talkin’ anyway
It doesn’t really matter where you going to go
It doesn’t really matter where you going to go
In the end it’s a mystery
where we’ll end, we’ll never know
It doesn’t really matter what you going to hear
It doesn’t really matter what you going to hear
Cause the sounds you been singing
Are only ringing in your ear
It doesn’t really matter where you think you’re going to
It doesn’t really matter where you think you’re goin’ to
‘Cause no matter where you’re goin’
I’m going there with you
‘Cause no matter where you’re goin’
I’m going there with you
Out Tonight
How bout that snow that’s falling covering the cars
I bet in just a couple hours there’ll be snow in every yard
I’m ready already I’m I always run a little hot
so bring your a game with you baby let’s give this night a shot
the city is running on fairytales that never end
I got my baby in my arms and we’re off to see our friends
The cabs are wet and foggy but no really cares
we skipped the subway for an evening and lived like we’re millionaires
Cause we’re going out tonight
Yeah we’re going out tonight
Say we’re going out tonight
We might break this city in half Going out tonight
Yeah we’re going out tonight
Going out tonight
Cause it might just be our last
(Ohhs)
I’ve never known happiness like some magic wonderland,
but i am in happy when I’m with you and listening to a band
I know the drinks are flowing and the lights will burn til dawn,
so raise your glasses everybody to the people
who are gone
Don’t overthink it what are we waiting to grow old
Let the spirit hit you baby, nothing like kissing in the cold
Everyone is happy and the energy is here
Cause a weekend in the city helps our troubles disappear
Cause we’re going out tonight
Yeah we’re going out tonight
Say we’re going out tonight
We might break this city in half Going out tonight
Yeah we’re going out tonight
Going out tonight
Cause it might just be our last
((Ohhs)
I don’t know much but there’s one thing that I know
when you bring people together that’s how you gonna grow
Cause we’re going out tonight
Yeah we’re going out tonight
Say we’re going out tonight
We might break this city in half Going out tonight
Yeah we’re going out tonight
Going out tonight
Cause it might just be our last
Tonight I’m Taking You Somewhere
Tonight I’m taking you somewhere
There’s no need to go far
Somethings happening in the air baby
Let’s go warm up the car
Working so hard you got that glow
Let’s break off from the plan
What grass is greener when we let go, Tell me?
No one knows where we stand
My hands open but anything else you’ve got to earn
My lips are yours for kissing
But my heart is slow to learn
When will it learn?
Tonight I’m taking you somewhere
There’s a great place I know
We’ll chase a buzz in the midnight air
so let’s down one more and go
I like how you look at me baby
When I tell you, “ you look fine”
I never planned out an evening girl
I just wing it all the time
My hands open but anything else you’ve got to earn
Your lips are fine for kissing
But let your body take a turn
Take a turn
Well the night keeps telling us
We don’t know what’s in store
The night keeps telling us to open every door
The night keeps telling us to believe in me and you
And trust the life we’re living
and keep loving as you do
Tonight I’m taking you somewhere
There’s no need to go far
Somethings happening in the air, baby
We’re lucky being who we are
Still Can Find Everything
Been a long
Been a long time
And I want
Want you to know why
Because I was harmed
But I’ve heeled
And some how I found home
We were hoping
We were hoping
We were hoping
We were hoping
Til we were harmed
But now we’re heeled
Oh we were harmed
But now we’re heeled
Let it all go
Let it all go
Dont try to understand
But it’s so clear to me
Everybody tries to understand
But it’s only
You and what you need
I’m sorry
Im not sorry I’m older
I’m sorry
I’m sorry I am older
We had it all
And lost a bit everything
I was harmed
But now I’m heeled
And you were hurt
And it was everything
You were harmed
But now you’re heeled
It’s time to let it go
You can let it go
We still can find everything
We still can find everything
We still can find everything
We still can find everything
We still can find everything
